Plans and Billing
Are DDownload Premium and Ultimate the same?
Yes — Ultimate is DDownload’s current name for the paid account most people search for as DDownload Premium. There’s one paid tier, not two separate plans with different features.
How much does DDownload Premium cost?
DDownload’s pricing page currently lists a 365-day Ultimate plan at €39.99 total and a 30-day option at €14.99. Exact pricing and available payment methods can vary by region, so check the official pricing page before buying. See our pricing guide for a fuller breakdown.
Is €3.33 the amount charged each month?
No — €3.33 is the €39.99 yearly price divided by 12, shown as an average monthly cost. You’re charged the full €39.99 for the 12-month plan, not a separate €3.33 each month.
Does DDownload renew automatically?
DDownload subscriptions renew automatically, while one-time purchases do not. The payment option and order summary determine which applies to your purchase, so check the renewal terms before confirming payment.
Do I need an account before buying?
You need a DDownload account to use Premium features, though you may be able to create one during checkout if you don’t already have one. Make sure you’re signed into the account you want upgraded before paying.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Cancel through the billing or account settings tied to how you paid — DDownload’s own account dashboard for card payments, or the relevant app store if you purchased through one. Cancelling stops future renewals; it doesn’t automatically refund the current billing period.
Can I request a refund?
Refunds follow DDownload’s current terms of service, and policies can vary by payment method and purchase channel. Purchases made through an app store are typically refunded through that store rather than DDownload directly. Check DDownload’s terms or contact their support for your specific situation.
Download Limits and Speed
What is the daily download allowance?
DDownload’s pricing page lists 200 GB of daily download traffic for Ultimate accounts. The amount shown in your own account may look slightly different, so check your account page after buying rather than relying only on the pricing page figure.
Why do the pricing page and terms show different traffic figures?
DDownload’s pricing page advertises 200 GB per day, while its terms of service separately reference 195 GB (200,000 MB) and note that displayed limits can vary by account. We can’t reconcile the exact numbers between these two official sources, so treat the allowance shown in your own account as the one that applies to you.
Does cancelling a download restore the traffic?
Not necessarily. DDownload’s terms state that generating a download link can count against your daily allowance even if the download is cancelled or never finishes. Don’t assume a cancelled download automatically refunds that traffic.
How fast is DDownload Premium?
In our tests, a single Premium download reached 13.9 MB/s in Chrome, and combined speeds across several parallel downloads went over 40 MB/s. Actual speed depends on the file, server, and your own connection — see our speed test results for the full breakdown.
Can I download several files at once?
DDownload Ultimate supports parallel downloads. Our Chrome capture shows four files downloading at once, with a combined speed of about 44.5 MB/s. The test demonstrates that four simultaneous transfers worked; it does not establish the maximum number supported.
Does DDownload work with JDownloader 2?
Yes — Premium accounts can be added in JDownloader 2. In our tests, four parallel downloads there reached a combined speed of about 43.52 MiB/s. See our speed test page for setup notes.
Account and Download Problems
Why is my paid account still showing as Free?
Ultimate status may not appear if you are signed into a different account, payment confirmation is pending, or JDownloader 2 has not refreshed the account status. Check the account email and payment confirmation, then sign in again or refresh the account in JDownloader 2. Contact official support if the upgrade still does not appear.
Why is a Premium download slow?
Premium speeds can vary with the file server, network route and your connection. Confirm Ultimate status, check whether the daily allowance has been exhausted, and test another available file. Our speed test explains the difference between single-file and combined download speeds.
Can Premium recover a deleted file?
Buying or renewing DDownload Premium cannot restore a file that DDownload has deleted. Ultimate provides paid account features, but it does not make an unavailable file accessible again. Ask the uploader for a working link or a replacement upload.
Who should I contact about billing or activation?
Contact DDownload’s own support for anything involving billing, refunds, or account activation. This is an independent guide and can’t access or change your account. Keep your receipt and the account email you used on hand when you reach out.
